Student opportunities and activities
At Moorebank High School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.
Our programs may include:
- school sport, athletics and inter-school competitions
- creative and performing arts groups: band, choir, dance, and drama
- Visual arts, photography, and media electives
- cultural and language activities
- excursions and incursions
- public speaking and debating (including competitions at local and state level)
- lunchtime and interest-based clubs (such as music, environment, and peer support)

Student Leadership and Service
Opportunities exist for students from all years to join leadership bodies such as the Student Representative Council (SRC), be a school prefect, or participate in the peer support program and environment committee.

Creative and performing arts
Students can join our band or choir, participate in performing arts evenings, and perform at school events and assemblies. We offer opportunities across music, dance, drama, and visual arts

Trips and excursions
Learning at Moorebank High School extends beyond the classroom. Students enjoy excursions to museums, universities, workplaces, theatres, and participate in community events helping them connect their studies to the wider world

Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
